Installing your eSIM
Apple iOS
Install an eSIM by scanning a QR code
Point the camera at the QR Code and your device will detect that it is a mobile plan".
Tap "Mobile Plan". An activation screen will show progress. (May take a while)
An "Activate eSIM" screen will then appear. Tap "Continue". Your eSIM is installed and activated.
Set up tips
The following assumes that you do not want to accept calls using your primary SIM and that you now are in the country covered by your new eSIM.
- Change the label to "Travel eSIM" or the name of your visited country.
- On your Primary SIM, turn off Roaming.
- Select Cell (Mobile) Data and change data setting to your Travel eSIM.
- Go into your Travel eSIM and turn on "Low Data Mode" to save data.

An screen "Add Maya Mobile eSIM?" screen will appear". Tap "Add".
An "Adding Maya Mobile eSIM" screen will then appear (May take a while). Then your eSIM is installed and activated.
Set up screens that may follow
The following assumes that you do not want to accept calls using your primary SIM now are that you are now in the country covered by your new eSIM.
- Change the name of your 2nd SIM (eSIM) to "Travel eSIM" or the name of your visited country.
- On the "Preferred SIM for Mobile data" screen, select your Travel eSIM.
- On the "Preferred SIM for messages" screen, leave this as your Primary SIM.
- On the "Preferred SIM for calls" screen, leave this as your Primary SIM.

1 click from your email
Setup directly from your purchase email and QR Code.
Press firmly on the QR code in your email for a second or 2.
You will have the native iPhone email app to achieve this method.
This process is not available if you are reading your email in other apps like outlook or gmail.
Note: Use this method if you cannot scan the QR with your camera.
Paste Code/s
Copy/Paste codes from your email.
Go to Settings => Mobile (Cell) => eSIM (By-pass the QR code screen).
Copy and paste "consumer.e-sim.global" and the "Activation Code" from your success page or email.
Note: Use this method if you cannot scan the QR with your camera.
Android
Paste Code/s
Copy/Paste codes from your email.
Go to Settings => SIM manager => Add eSIM => Scan QR code => Enter activation code.
Copy/paste "consumer.e-sim.global" immediately (no spaces) followed by the "activation code" from your success page or email.
Note: Use this method if you cannot scan the QR with your camera.
